Virginia Cooperative Extension in the four counties of the Northern Neck will be offering household well water testing this October. Flyers are below with specifics about the program in each county. Pre-registration is required, with contact information on each flyer.
This program is through the VA Household Water Quality Program, which provides low-cost water testing based on 14 parameters: iron, sodium, fluoride, coliform bacteria, manganese, copper, pH, E. coli, sulfate, nitrate, total dissolved solids, lead, hardness, and arsenic. This year the test costs $55.
