Public Volunteer Opportunity

International Coastal Cleanup/
Clean VA Waterways

We are looking for a few volunteers to pick up trash along trails and beach at Hughlett Point Natural Area Preserve located between Kilmarnock and Burgess on the Western Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

Next scheduled date for pickup is October 19th. We will meet at the parking area at 7:30 am. Bags will be provided. Please bring your own gloves, pickup tongs and bottled water.

Driving directions: From Kilmarnock, go north on VA 200 towards Burgess. Turn right onto VA 606. Turn right at the Shiloh schoolhouse onto VA 605. Follow VA 605 to the preserve.
