Oyster Garden Inspection @ Westmoreland State Park

Volunteer Opportunity

Come help inspect the oyster garden at Westmoreland State Park. Meet at the Boathouse. The inspection will be led by a Master Oyster Gardener. To get a hands-on experience with the oyster garden, be sure to bring gloves and water shoes.

This project is a cooperative effort between the Friends of Westmoreland State Park and the Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association (TOGA) with financial support from the Chesapeake Bay Restoration Fund. It received a 2022 Virginia Green Travel Star Award from the Virginia Green Travel Alliance.
