Dear Fellow Master Naturalists,

In the hopes of starting 2022 on a good foot and working off some of the holiday culinary excesses, I will be conducting trail maintenance at Chilton Woods State Forest on Thursday, January 6, 2022. The plan is to begin about 9 and conclude around noon. Since the Omicron is spiking in the Northern Neck, we will observe safety protocols that will include masking when we cannot maintain a safe separation.

Please bring work gloves and any small tools that you may need, usually snippers, loppers or small bow saws. I will bring trash bags and maps.
