Yup, another POP UP OPPORTUNITY with Andy!

Dear Fellow Master Naturalists,

We are holding our fourth and final day of January’s intensive trail maintenance at Chilton Woods State Forest next Tuesday, January 25, 2022. If you would like to join us and have a ton of fun in the process, please let me know at lowermachodod@gmail.com or call or text to 804-986-4784.

We will plan to meet at 9am at the transmission line parking lot on Field Trial Road. If you can come, dress warmly, and bring small hand tools (if you have them) such as snippers or loppers. We have already completed most of the heavy clearing and maintenance, so we should be done by noon (Famous last words,I know.).

As you will note in the first paragraph, I plan to make this our final trail maintenance for a while. My next communication will be to invite you to participate in more fun activities at CWF. The first of these will be held on a weekend so that those of you who have weekday commitments will have a chance to join in.
