2nd Thursdays at Belle Isle start early enough in the day to see Nature in morning mode and before the heat of the day sets in. These walks are lead by master naturalists familiar with the Park and its resident critters, plants and geography. It’s fun to see both familiar and new species and to see how the seasonal changes affect us all. Caterpillars morph into butterflies, trees leafing out and full of baby bird food, corn as high as an elephant’s eye. See you on the 2nd Thursday!
For more information and day-of instructions call the Park office: 804.462.5030. Meet up at the Camp Store.
