The Northern Neck Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists (NNMN) is offering a free virtual program on “The World of Dragonflies and the Arrival of the 17-year Cicada” by Dr. Richard Groover, a now retired college professor.  He received his Ph. D. from George Mason University in Environmental Science & Public Policy, a Fellow of the Virginia Academy of Science and currently on the Board of Trustees for the Science Museum of Virginia. He is actively conducting research on dragonflies in Hanover County.
